But it seems like, the explanation was not far behind.

This item was called a ‘meat mincer’ and has a fascinating history. It was used in the UK for mincing and mixing raw or cooked meat, fish, vegetables, and more. At one time, this was a popular household item. The item came into prominence in the nineteenth century when Karl Drais invented the very first version of it. Initially, meat grinders were cranked with their hands, pushing meat through a metal plate with small holes which resulted in small strands of flesh.

As technology advanced and electricity became more common, manufacturers began to make meat grinders that were able to work with power. Modern electric grinders are able to seamlessly mince pounds of beef. Some models come with attachments attachments which help with sausage-making, kibbe, and juicing. Ever since the item was modernized, they were able to get more features built into them.

So, while these days, mince meat is easy to make with electric mincers, the tool has had a long journey to become what it is today. It seems like some people were fascinated by learning about what this product was. While some people actually, might have known already what it was! Did you happen to already know what this item was?
