This guy sticks his head into a busy barbershop

1. The Barbershop Mystery

A man peeks his head into a busy barbershop and asks,
“Hey, how long would it take for a haircut?”

The barber looks around at the packed shop and replies,
“About two hours.”

The man nods and leaves.

A few days later, he returns and asks the same question.

Again, the barber checks the shop and says,
“Still about two hours.”

The man leaves without getting a haircut.

A week passes, and he comes back again.

“How long for a haircut?”

The barber replies,
“About an hour and a half.”

Once again, the man leaves.

Curious, the barber turns to a waiting customer and says,
“Do me a favor—follow him and see where he goes. I don’t understand this guy.”

About 30 minutes later, the customer rushes back into the shop, laughing uncontrollably.

The barber asks,
“What happened? Where did he go?”

The customer wipes his eyes and says,
“He went to your house.”

2. The Suspicious Wife

A husband is sitting quietly reading his newspaper when his wife suddenly walks up behind him and hits him on the back of the head.

Shocked, he asks,
“What was that for?”

She replies,
“I found a piece of paper in your pocket with the name ‘Mary’ written on it.”

The husband calmly explains,
“Honey, do you remember when I went to the horse races two weeks ago? ‘Mary’ was the name of one of the horses I bet on.”

Relieved, she apologizes and walks away.

Three days later, the husband is again reading when his wife suddenly slaps him across the face.

Confused, he asks,
“What was that for this time?”

She replies,
“Your horse called.”
